Pure Soul Short Film Review:
The Pure Soul short film story revolves around Varna (Som Nayak), a talented painter who has faced heartbreak in love. For his 100th painting at an exhibition in Paris, he chose a prostitute named Swetha (Shraddha Das) as his subject. Varna, who started his artistic journey by painting the woman he once loved, now selects Swetha for this milestone work.
During the process of creating the painting, a deep conversation unfolds between Varna and Swetha. Through this interaction, Varna sees a pure soul within Swetha, while Swetha sees honesty in Varna that she hadn’t encountered in society before. Varna, who had found deceit in the woman he loved, discovers the purity of a woman in Swetha. The painting that emerges from their conversation is beautifully depicted by the director.
Director Chilukuri Akash Reddy has skillfully brought his vision to life on screen. He mentions that the dialogues between Varna and Swetha (Shraddha Das) are particularly touching and resonate with the heart.Â
